L580 is a highly efficient organosilicon polyol block copolymer specifically designed for manufacturing flexible polyurethane foams based on polyether polyols. It is suitable for both discontinuous (box) foam production processes and continuous (block) foam production methods, where L580 facilitates uniform emulsification of raw materials and, with its excellent nucleation capability, imparts the desired regular pore structure to the foam.
L580 exhibits good compatibility with most polyol premixtures and, due to its outstanding hydrolytic stability, ensures excellent stability performance. It is particularly recommended for use in the manufacture of flexible foams with densities below 30 kilograms per cubic meter.
